I guess I am wondering whether the issue is with Paragon or Tuxera or my NTFS formatting. System requirements: Mac OS X 10.4/10.5/10.6 (10.6 requires that you do not use the 64-bit kernel), running on an Intel or PowerPC computer. Download: NTFS-3G for Mac OS X 2010.10.2. I am on a MBP Apple Silicon with 8gb RAM. The development of NTFS-3G for Mac OS X is funded by Tuxera Ltd. I noticed with APFS it is very slow to load and when running the video it stutters. I was also thinking if I should just do away with NTFS and reformat my drive to APFS? Would it be faster? I need to regularly access my video files and run/edit those on the drive so I need fast access speed. If this feature is not used, Tuxera NTFS for Mac may have problems with mounting the volume, because it could be in an inconsistent state. Now I was wondering if this is something with Paragon or my HDD is giving up? I purchased it few months ago so it's almost brand new. removable disks from a Windows system (regardless of using Tuxera NTFS for Mac to access them or not). Anybody else experience anything like this? Luckily I was able to recover most of my files. For the last few years I enjoyed using the (free) Paragon NTFS For Mac software in combination with my Seagate external HDD. The file size was intact but the video wouldn't play. Paragon NTFS on Apple M1: corrupted files. Recently Tuxera became very slow on my new MAC Silicon so I replaced Tuxera with Paragon NTFS and after cutting and pasting some video files from my MBP to the Seagate external HDD I noticed that quite a few of videos were corrupted. If you bought NTFS for Mac previously and received a download link for an older version, you have to download and install the latest version directly from our website. I have been using NTFS with Tuxera to read and write. Microsoft NTFS for Mac by Tuxera releases older than 2023 do not support macOS Sonoma. I do a lot of videography and editing so my files are mostly mp4 and mov. My user has the Read+Write right, but not works. Since the update to Monterey, the old Tuxera version stopped working altogether, so I could no long write to my NTFS drives.
